Behold the futuristic horror of going through an internet outage when you have about a dozen Alexa-based Echo devices in your house.
On a more practical/serious note though, Amazon and every other AI vendor out there seem to have stopped developing Alexa's AI on the backend for 5+ years now. There should never be moments like this, but every AI user has had to hear Echo go on a rant about some life story or troubleshooting novel when you dare to ask it for something unusual or under non-perfect network conditions. They need to further refine and use the 'make Alexa use beeps instead of 'Okay' responses they did originally back in ~2017, and give users the option to never allow Alexa to go on rants like this.
